kelsey w 2nd response

Alex~ Good job on choosing your articles. they all see to have lots of data important to your topic. I like that your doing global warming's affect on the ocean, that's really cool and I haven't heard much about it. Another example of your terrific fact finding abilities is the evidence that the temperatures are rising at each pole. The post on sound pollution was great, for your outside source you should interview a marine biologist.

Alex you're doing fabulouslyy- The whale article was my favorite also, that was really cool and I had never heard of it either :] New information is always refreshing. I agree with Morgan and Kelsey- it's really neat how you're not just sticking to one subject and limiting yourself because after a while that would just get boring for both you and the readers. That's important when doing an I-search also because other information, although it might not relate directly to the topic you are writing about, can support it and make it more effective to read. If animals are what interest you the most, I would definitely try to find something like a list of all the animals that are endangered or something like that.
I know you're missing one of the citations cause the paper got lost, but you're looking for it and thats whats important :] keep up the good work!

Kelsey Schwarz- Second Response

I think you're doing a good job. Like Morgan said, having a variety of different articles is a good idea. I like how you talk about how humans affect global warming and what types of things contribute to it, and at the same time you also find information on how global warming is affecting marine life. I also thought it was good that you had some different quotes from different scientist...it gives us an idea of what they're thinking right now. I think that you should do an article on what we can do to stop global warming.

This was my favorite article so far, because it has to do with the ocean and sea animals, which is what i am most interested in. I never actually had heard of sound pollution, so it was new to me, and really interesting how it was affecting oceans and the animals in them. I think I want to find more about sound pollution, or just more global warming on the animals in the sea. It was a great article and i learned a whole lot.

I really like the variety of articles that you have. One of your articles was on the effect global warming is havaing on marine life. I think you should continue to look at that because most global warming studies don't focus on the animals. quick thing to work on is spelling errors, I know this thing doesn't have spell check, but these errors coulb be avoided by re-reading your post before posting it.
