I think that Global Warming is a great choice for your subject. There will be tons of information on all of the different aspects of Global Warming. It would be really cool if you incorporated your interst in marine biology with the Global Warming subject, all of the effects and outcomes on the sea life. Talking to people who do this sort of thing for a living will obviously be useful for your resarch.
Global Warmin'
I think you have already picked your topic and it is a really good one. My dad is a marine biologist and works with sea animals. I think he also has something to do with the marine agriculture in Maine, but I don't really know. You could branch out on the I-Search and do it on how global warming is affecting lobstering and the likes of that.
I can imagine you will be able to find lots of information on your topic and it will be constantly updated, so good luck.

It seems like you've already chosen global warming as a topic. Its a good choice, because I know that there is a lot of information on the internet and everywhere else about global warming. Its good that you already have a main focus, which is the oceans and its wildlife. My mom is subscribed to National Geographic, and there was an issue a while ago that was all about global warming and rising water levels. You could probably find it on one of the databases.
3 topics
The three topics I decided to search were global warming, mostly on the oceans, how it’s affecting the rise of it and animals in the oceans. Then orthopedics, how they are changing and improving the thing they make and their knowledge. Then eating disorders, and how they affect the family and their future. These are the topics I am most interested in getting to know better, and researching.
First I went to Student Resource Center. This one is the most helpful to me. I could find everything very easily and it had everything I needed as soon as I researched it. You could tell before you researched it if it was basic medium or advanced to read. I thought this was very helpful, for I would not understand advanced papers. In Student Resource Center, I found many good articles about global warming. I saved many to my email account. I also found a few things on orthopedics.
I also went to Opposing Viewpoints, which is pretty much the exact same thing as Student Resource Center, but I did find a few different articles.
Next, I went to World and I. This one was very good too, but I didn’t like how you had to have a password to get in. It got a little confusing sometimes. Or that you had to create your own account just to save something. But other than that, it had good information about global warming.
There are still sources I haven’t used yet, like Master file and Masulta. But I have gone to Marval and used ProQuest. I like Proquest because I’m familiar with it from last year, so I already know how to use it. It also has goods amounts of information. I found stuff about global warming very quickly and things about my other 3 topics like orthopedics. I have still a lot of information to get, but sp far the resources work very well and so far I’m getting lots of information on my first topic. I’m pretty sure I am going to do my first topic-about global warming in oceans. I seem to be able to find lots of information about it, and it pretty interesting.
